Presque Isle Township Clerks

Some of the duties for elected Township Clerks involves collecting real and personal property taxes, maintaining an account of township receipts (revenues) and expenditures, and issuing township checks. Additionally, this role includes depositing township revenues in approved depositories and investing township funds in approved investment vehicles. It also requires the collection of delinquent personal property tax and the responsibility for jeopardy assessments in collecting property tax.
